Martin Bjørnson (born November 22, 1988) is a Norwegian professional wrestler, actor and model. He is currently signed to VALOR Wrestling, where he performs under the ring name Vibi.[1]

Early life

Bjørnson was born on November 22, 1988, in Oslo, Norway. He is the second of three brothers.

Bjørnson was a fan of professional wrestling from an early age, which leads to him taking up amateur wrestling at age eigth.

Bjørnson dropped out of college to pursue a career in modelling. In 2007 he moved to New York City to work for a modelling agency which went out of business later that year.

After his stint in modelling, Bjørnson started training to become a professional wrestler, making his in-ring debut in 2010.

Professional wrestling career

New Generation of CAW (2013)

Vibi was announced as a signee of New Generation of CAW on May 2, 2013 he made his debut on the third edition of NGC Downfall, defeating Travis Jones.[2][3]

Vibi was involved in a rivalry with Ryan Giovanni which culminated in a hair vs hair match at NGC's second special, No Remorse, where Vibi picked up a victory via submission.[4]

On the final episode of NGC Downfall, Vibi suffered a pinfall loss against Aaron Matthews in the main event for the NGC Championship.[5]

Renegade Wrestling Union (2014)

Vibi was announced as the fourth participant in the RWU International Championship gauntlet match on the fourth episode of RWU TV.[6]

He made his first appearance on the first RWU special, Influx, in the International Championship gauntlet match, but was taken out prematurely by Ryan Giovanni.[7]

PURE (2016)

After a two-year absence from the wrestling business, Vibi made a surprise appearance on the fourth and final episode of PURE, confronting fellow wrestler, Stigma.[8]

VALOR Wrestling (2017)

On April 22, 2017 it was announced that Vibi had signed with VALOR Wrestling.[1]

Personal Life

Bjørnson resides in Los Angeles, California.

In 2014 he quit the wrestling industry to pursue other hobbies. He starred in a number of independent film productions and performed in a few stage plays. He also relaunched his modelling career in his time away from wrestling.

Bjørnson endorsed Republican candidate Donald J. Trump in the 2016 Presidential Election.
